I have long believed that messages from the other side are a beautiful and rare gift. I’ve had my own experiences throughout my life, which are happening more and more lately. Given that, I have chosen to make an effort to explore these messages and experiences on my spiritual journey. With books like Brian Weiss’s “Many Lives Many Masters” and the growing acceptance of psychic mediums (thank you Teresa Caputo, John Edwards and countless others), I have been able to verify that some of my own psychic experiences have been real. I am on a journey to understand it and develop it, hopefully being able to help others along the way.
Whether it’s a gift I will develop or just random moments of blessings has yet to be seen. Either way, it is simply amazing. Today is a perfect example.
I made some time for morning meditation, in which I tried to center my energy. That’s not so easy when my mind is so rudely trying to interfere with my inner balance. After some breathing exercises I decided to sage my space asking for positive energy to enter and to be surrounded by my spirit guides. I asked for negative energy to leave and for my spirit guides to be present in helping me on this road I’m on. Simultaneously, my shoulders felt very heavy which as I’m finding out, is usually a sign that spirit is with me.
Not 30 seconds after I finished this cleansing, my phone rang. It was a psychic I have become friends with over the past year or so. She had a message for me. It was from my beloved grandmother who passed a little over 10 years ago. I couldn’t believe it. I know she’s always with me and I talk to her daily. Now she had a message for me. Maybe the craziest part of all is that for several months now, I have been asking for validation of my experiences from another source, specifically my grandmother.
My friend proceeded to tell me that my grandmother has been with her all morning and she wanted to tell me a few things. My grandmother said that she is proud of me and that I’m doing a great job. She also said that everything will be okay. I often wonder if I’m on the right path and ask for guidance so while those words may seem simple, it was all the clarity I needed. I am blessed. We will see where this life brings me next.
